The neighborhood kitchen of "I&I," led by Stan Kelly (former chef/operator of Wicked Gardens Cuisine), is a unique blending of new and familiar southern soulful Afro-American food with inspiration from Africa to the Caribbean and the American South. The connections allow flavors from different corners of the world to inspire its dishes. This cozy eatery features a small yet dynamic menu that frequently changes to showcase seasonal produce and a wine and beer list.
The restaurant's warmth embodies the meaning of "I & I," which in the Patois language denotes the shared identity/source from which all people are connected and represents the concept of One Love. Since we are all the same, we should love each other just as we love ourselves. In Patois, "I and I" is "We." The neighborhood kitchen aims to promote positive energy, emotions, and joy, or "Irie" (positivity) and "Ites" (joy), to the community by providing a shared dining experience.
